We love this brand new pattern from Savory Knitting. Part of the Driftwood Collection from Spincycle Yarns and The Farmer's Daughter Fibers.
This cardigan is worked in an allover mosaic stitch. The fronts, back and sleeves feature a motif based on a traditional quilt block. The mosaic knitting technique uses only 1 yarn in each row with slipped stitches to create the pattern. You alternate 2 MC rows with 2 CC rows throughout. The motif pattern is charted. The Sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up. The Body is worked in one piece from the bottom up. The Body and sleeves are joined at the underarm and the yoke is worked seamlessly with V-neck and raglan shaping.
Nancy has broken this down into 4 classes held in store on Sundays from 3 - 5pm
