Return Policy

• Full-priced, unused, and unwound yarn in original resalable condition may be exchanged for store credit within 90 days of purchase.

• All sales are final on books, patterns, needles, tools, accessories, gifts, and discounted/sale/special event items.

• Items with manufacturing defects will be replaced with the same or a comparable product when possible.

• Shipping fees are non-refundable.

• Fees for workshops, Stitch Fix, and private lessons are non-refundable. You may reschedule:

• Workshops: with 48 hours’ notice

• Stitch Fix/Private Lessons: with 24 hours’ notice

• Guest instructor class fees are non-refundable.

Rewards: Welcome to the ClamShack!

• Earn 5 Clams per $1 spent in-store or online.

• Earn bonus Clams for your birthday and for referring a friend.

• Redeem Clams for coupons:

• 1,000 Clams = 5% off one purchase

• 2,500 Clams = 10% off one purchase

• You must register on our website using the email we have on file.

• Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retroactively.

• We cannot guarantee we can look up your Clam balance in-store.

Ball Winding

• We’ll wind yarn purchased from our store:

• 1 skein free, then $3 per additional skein

• Yarn purchased elsewhere: $3 per skein

• During busy times, we may limit winding or ask you to leave yarn for later pickup.

• Wound yarn is not eligible for return or exchange.

Gift Cards

• Physical gift cards available in any amount.

• Can be used on products and classes, in-store and online.

• Cannot be redeemed for cash.

• Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

Knitting & Crochet Help

We follow the “10-minute rule”:

• If your project was purchased from us and your issue takes under 10 minutes (e.g., fixing dropped stitches, pattern clarification), help is free.

• For more complex help or unfamiliar patterns, please schedule a Private Lesson or come to Stitch Fix.

• Issues requiring over 10 minutes or extensive repairs: $15/hour minimum, and projects may need to be left with us.

• We’re happy to help with outside yarn/projects following the same guidelines.

• Drop-in help is not guaranteed. We’ll assess and guide you to the best option.

Workshop & Stitch Fix Registration

• Cancel up to 48 hours in advance for store credit.

• Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Class & Workshop Attendance

• Register online—spots are first-come, first-served.

• Most classes are for adults 18+, though we occasionally offer youth sessions.

• Arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

• Come prepared with all required materials (see class description). Yarn should be wound and ready.

• If we cancel for weather/unforeseen reasons, you’ll receive store credit.

• Running late? Call or email us.

• Seats are limited and valued—please cancel responsibly:

• Workshops: Cancel 48 hrs before for credit; Within 48 hours is non-refundable.

• Stitch Fix/Private Lessons: Cancel 24 hrs before for credit; Within 24 hours is non-refundable.

• Guest instructor fees are non-refundable (as noted).

Class Materials

• Required supplies/homework listed in each class description.

• You may bring your own yarn, but for best results, we recommend using the materials suggested by instructors.

Repair & Finishing Services

• Yes! We offer blocking, seaming, and repair services, done in-house.

• Prices vary by time and complexity.

Food, Drink & Pets

• Please enjoy food before entering the shop. Drinks with secure lids are welcome.

• Only certified service dogs are permitted.

• We strive to create a warm, respectful space and reserve the right to refuse service if needed.

• We respect your privacy and will only contact you about shop-related matters.
