This sweater is inspired by the geometric modernist style of 1920’s textile designer Elise Djo-Bourgeois, with its combination of circles, squares and triangles in a mix of pastels and more contrasting colors on a base of white. The use of bold contrast colors to knit the motifs replicates her block-prints.
Seamless and knit in the round from the top down, you will be constantly amused by the changing patterns as you knit. The shape is modern and loose, with a slit at the back neck ribbing to ensure a relaxed neckline, the cropped body is balanced out with generous sleeves that taper at the cuff, by knitting visible decreases into the ribbing. The omission of short rows keeps this sweater simple and fuss- free!

Each kit is made up of 1 MC and 5 CCs (we used less than the pattern calls for). Each picture shows the Main Color (MC) of the sweater across the top with the Contras Colors(CC) lined up underneath. CC1 (pictured on the far left) is used more than the other CCs, so requires an extra skein.
