Looking for a stunning shawl to knit this Summer? We’ve got you covered!
Join us as we cast on the beautiful Against the Current Shawl, a large triangular shawl featuring a charming fish motif inspired by the Against the Current T-shirt, paired with delicate lace and a graceful feather-and-fan border. An elegant I-cord edging finishes the piece, creating a lightweight accessory that’s perfect for cool beach evenings or a night out.
Nancy will guide you through this project over three classes, breaking the shawl into manageable sections: the feather-and-fan lace border, the whimsical fish motif, and the airy lace body.
This is an intermediate-level class. Knitters should be comfortable with knit and purl stitches and creating yarn overs. No homework is required prior to class, but please arrive with your pattern purchased, yarn wound, and all of your knitting tools ready to go.
