This sweater has a super simple construction. Front and Back are worked back and forth with no armhole or neck shaping. You then seam the shoulders, leaving neck hole open. Sleeve stitches are then picked up along the edge and knit down. Only seaming that need to be done is along the sides of the body and down the sleeves. Final step is a quick steam or bath and you’re ready to go!
Naming a pattern is almost as hard as naming your first born so I asked Rachelle from Moondrake Yarns if she had any ideas. She said in Japanese YaSaShii means gentle or kind and often describes the softness of a person, which is perfect for this design. This sweater is so comfortable- soft as a cloud and light as a feather. A new spin on our shop favorite, Super Simple Sweater, you’ll love making this! are going to love making this sweater almost as much as you love wearing it.
