A Classic Cable Sweater with a Modern Twist! Get ready to cast on a sweater you’ll treasure for years to come!
The Edith Sweater by LeKnit is a stunning blend of vintage charm and modern style. Inspired by traditional fishermen’s sweaters with a nod to the bold knitwear of the 1980s, this design features beautiful, textured cables and a relaxed, contemporary silhouette.
Knit seamlessly from the top down, the Edith Sweater is as interesting to make as it is beautiful to wear. You’ll begin by working the back and front sections separately, creating the intricate cable pattern before joining the pieces to knit the body in the round. A classic ribbed neckline and sleeves worked in the round complete this timeless design.
Join Nancy for this four-part sweater workshop! She’ll guide you through the construction process, help you master the cable pattern, and share tips and techniques along the way. We’ve spaced the classes several weeks apart, giving you plenty of time to knit between sessions and work through each stage of your sweater.
Whether you’re looking to expand your sweater-knitting skills or simply love a gorgeous cable project, this class is the perfect opportunity to tackle something special with expert guidance and a little encouragement from fellow knitters.
Nancy has broken this project up into 4 classes.
