Hana is an heirloom sweater design by Junko Okomato. Junko is one of our favorite knitwear designers. She is clear & concise, uses innovative techniques and combines simple silhouettes with the perfect amount style to create fun sweaters to make and wear. Hana is a boxy, patchwork pullover made up of squares with various stitch patterns. Patterns include braided cables, honeycomb cables, wishbone cables, twisted stitches and much more. The pieces are all knit separately then seamed together using an embroidery technique.
Hana is available in 6 sizes and is meant to be worn with 8-20" of positive ease.

Since this design is knit in separate pieces, it is a wonderful Summer project to work on at the beach, on your porch or on the go!
Each kit contains the required yardage of Le Gros Lambswool from Biches et Buches. A pure lambswool from a family-owned fiber mill in Scotland, the wool is rustic and soft at the same time. What is lambswool? It is the first shearing of a sheep, considered high-grade of wool. With wonderful loft and body, Le Gros Lambswool has beautiful stitch definition and shape for this design. A palette of light colors will highlight the patterns.
You'll need to download the pattern from Ravelry and select 1 contrasting color for the seaming. We recommend Dream State from Spincycle, for a colorful pop.
