Follifoot is a village in Yorkshire, England and is where this pattern originated!
Once there's a chill in the air, I love an extra layer of warmth around my legs. Legwarmers do the trick! I wear them over jeans and leggings, tuck them into my boots, or throw them over slippers when I want to be cozy around the house. They level up the style and cozy factor of any outfit. It's like wrapping a hand-knit sweater around your legs!

The pattern is SUPER simple! Cast on and join in the round. Work a 2x2 rib, then transition into a broken rib for elevated texture. This allows you to wear them scrunched down or pulled all the way up your calves. The rib patterns are very rhythmic; you'll get into a groove and finish these in no time!
Elegant and refined, Silk Blend is everybody's favorite. It combines the softness of merino wool with the luster of silk in a lightweight yarn. Manos uses Tussah Silk for this blend, produced by silk worms that feed on oak and similar tree leaves, rich in tannins that give the fiber a gorgeous golden tone and yield subtle, tonal colors. This yarn is wonderfully soft and glides across your needles. This yarn is hand-dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, subtly striated effect that forms a rich palette of glorious colors.
Each kit contains 2 skeins of Silk Blend and the Follifoot Legwarmers Pattern.
You'll also need size 6 needles, in whatever length you prefer for working in the round on a small circumference. Double-pointed needles, long circular needles for magic loop, or short circulars (9" or 12") will all work.
