It's officially "GO TIME" with the gift knitting. For the last project of the year we have a super simple pair of fingerless mitts that will work up in a flash!
These gloves are long and perfect for slouching down and keeping your hands and wrists toasty throughout winter. The pattern features a garter stitch stripe and simple pointelle stitch.
Since we are all scrambling to cross off everyone on our list there are two yarn choices.
Rasta is our absolutely favorite bulky yarn! A single ply merino, it is super soft and easy to work with. Rasta is hand dyed in beautiful, rich tones, which pair perfectly with KidSilk Haze. KidSilk haze is a superfine strand of silk and mohair, which gives these gloves an elegant shine and subtle halo. The combination of Rasta/KidSilk haze is dreamy!
Cast Away is a super bulky, hand spun yarn from Knit Collage. The thick and thin composition gives these gloves texture.
The pattern calls for size 15 DPNs, long circular or whatever length you prefer for working in the round on a small circumference.
